Getting to St Croix

Henry E. Rohlsen airport (STX) is located mid-island and is supported by domestic airlines with multiple flights daily from the mainland in addition to daily commuter and seaplane services to nearby islands. Visit the airport website for more information. Henry E. Rohlsen Airport website.
Several car rental companies are located at the airport, and several off-airport car rental companies will meet you at the airport. Additionally, taxi services are available, but no ride-share companies operate in the Virgin Islands at this time.
Getting to The Reef Community
The Reef is on the east end of the island and getting there is an approximately 35-minute drive by car from the airport. For those arriving later in the day, it may be a good idea to stop by Seaside Market on the way to pick up food for the evening as most grocery stores and restaurants close by 9PM. The following day, there are several grocery stores to choose from, but all are at least a 15-minute car ride from The Reef.
If you are using a navigation app, it’s best to plug Duggan’s Reef in as the destination as some apps don’t recognize The Reef complex. Duggan’s Reef Restaurant is on property and across the road from the gated entrance to the villa complex.
